However, they like to put up nice large buds and then suddenly turn yellowish and abort. I finally got one bud (out of four) to bloom. But surprise surprise....it is not fragrant. Iv'e had plants of this cross before and the flowers were always extremely fragrant. Go figure. Any suggestions or comments?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08051912860986856291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-28391662157986720532018-07-06T16:01:21.867-04:002018-07-06T16:01:21.867-04:00My White Beauty blooms regularly every summer and ...My White Beauty blooms regularly every summer and i finally got my magdelanae to bloom surprisingly it was after having it outside in full sun all summer with daily watering and rewarded me with 3 flowersmooresyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14135023256464528654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-42600147985794162532017-02-04T14:14:33.750-05:002017-02-04T14:14:33.750-05:00If you self pollinate, I'd probably get one. Try pollinating a plant with itself. I use wooden tooth picks and have recently practiced on a few different Dendrobium pendant type flowers. I am about to begin a few crosses with several different Aerangis. Regarding the flasking; find a lab to do it for you. You can make various arrangements with the lab... you can pay the lab a price per flask and/or allow the lab to keep a percentage of the flasks. Would like to hear more on how you cultivate your Angraecoids. Could make an interesting guest post!tomk10https://www.blogger.com/profile/11657185515438733373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-60836664064496439022014-09-10T20:53:11.057-04:002014-09-10T20:53:11.057-04:00I have a beautiful angraecum magdalenae that is ab...I have a beautiful angraecum magdalenae that is about to bloom. i have figured out a good set-up for my angraecums this year. I have roots growing everywhere and this is the fastest I've ever had an inflorescence grow. I wish I knew how to pollinate and flask. I would love to make my own cross with any other comparable angraecum. I just love magdalenae so much! Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04581735822510369709noreply@blogger.com
