However, I recently watched a VLOG in which makes me think that my orchid may be the Madagascar type. I'm also not sure if what I have is a seedling or not. Is there a difference in the appearance of their roots?Kokoro-himehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17429240858450569607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-16285245742765026582020-07-13T21:50:52.664-04:002020-07-13T21:50:52.664-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12765805743039859682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-62569824144701847222014-12-13T11:37:20.313-05:002014-12-13T11:37:20.313-05:00Can they be grown in lava rock? Can they be grown in lava rock?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06729664066603434175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-55351202630095672682013-05-01T13:09:42.110-04:002013-05-01T13:09:42.110-04:00Olaf, that is very interesting information. I had talked to a grower that had recently spent time in Madagascar and was trying to follow up on a similiar story. I never did get a straight answer from him regading this stroy. The shame here in the states is that many growers that don't reproduce the plants themselves usually can't say one way or the other as to what plant they are selling. I would like any information you have regarding this so that I may make an addition to the blog. I would certainly give the credit where it is due. I can be reached at tkangcm@live.com . Thanks for the heads up!tomk10https://www.blogger.com/profile/11657185515438733373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-45506724337173405522013-05-01T06:35:05.348-04:002013-05-01T06:35:05.348-04:00The giant "Comoros" leonis grows in Nort...The giant "Comoros" leonis grows in Northern Madagascar too, and I even suspect that the plants grown in cultivation said to be from the Comoros are from Madagascar instead.<br />Olaf PAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-927570948560397977.post-73275986144478723052013-02-26T21:23:03.102-05:002013-02-26T21:23:03.102-05:00Thank you for this post.
